  Thank you owner Karma dai and all staffs specially Janakee for great hospitality, Overall, great hospitality, 24 hour food service and on call night staff. Will recommend any foreigner to stay at Royal penguin hotel. Clean and affordable. Only info for foreigner, if they complain about the water being yellowish, it is due to the fact the water is supplied through tank all over Thamel area and there is no other options. :)

  Great hotel in the heart of the city. Very clean in the rooms! Great service, good breakfast. Can only recommend to stay there, as I also had other disappointing experiences in this city with other hotels

  Everything except bathing water was very good. We were informed that water is a problem in Kathmandu, and will be same in all hotels. Water in bathroom was yellow and smelly. Drinking water was fine.

  Excellent hotel to stay with family in the center of Thamel. Cost is reasonable, the rooms are very clean and well maintained. The staff is very courteous and helpful. The restaurant is of good standard and have wide variety of food items and breakfast options. They serve breakfast 24 hours a day. Spa and massage services are available in the hotel itself.
