  Alive hospital and trauma centre started its work on 24th Ashad 2068.( 8th July 2011 AD. The hospital is located at bharatpur height, Bharatpur 10 Chitwan, infront of Chitwan High school.The hospital is located by the side of the East west highway and 500 meters away from the bharatpur airport and it is easily accessible by road and by plane.The hospital is the first trauma centre in Nepal dedicated to orthopaedics, accidents, neuro and plastic surgery supported by other departments. The orthopaedic department specializes in all the fields of the speciality namely accident surgery, spine surgery, paediatric orthopaedics and sports medicine. Emergency Departent The emergency department is equipped with trained doctors and nurses who would initiate advanced trauma life support on arrival of the trauma victims. Outpatient Department The outpatient department consists of many examination rooms for quick and efficient management of patients without delay.The hospital also has a good reception and a full fledged pharmacy which provide round the clock services.   Operation Theater Three operation theaters allow upto 40 operating hours every day. Among them one is primarily orthopaedic theater well equipped with modern instrumentation and imaging systems. an adequate inventory of all the orthopaedic implants is maintained in the theater to ensure continuous conduct of surgery. The next theater is for neurosurgery and the remaining is for general and other surgeries.  Severe injuries including polytrauma, multiple trauma, open fractures, injury requiring extensive plastic surgery different grades of bed sores, physical disabilities and mal and non union surgeries are performed daily in the dedicated orthopaedic theater.The operation theater are also specially designed with infection prevention as the primary aim. There are also well.equipped post operative wards separately for various specialities and hitech intensive care unit for trauma and neurosurgery patients with round the clock staff coverage.

  Alive Hospital and trauma centre (AHTC) is the first functioning trauma centre established in Nepal. AHTC is established by young dynamic doctors with an idea to help the needy people who bleed to death on the roads. AHTC is basically a 50 bedded hospital, located at Bharatpur height, aimed at trauma and physical disabilities. Health facilities in Nepal are very few and most of them are located in the Kathmandu valley. The leading cause of death in Nepal are infectious disease like cholera, dairrhoea, influenza ,encephalitis and malaria ,but combining different types of accidents, it account for the number one cause of death in Nepal. There are about 40,800 people living with physical disabilities and about 7800 people with multiple physical disabilities in Nepal. On an average there is only a single doctor for 18,500 people and there is only a single hospital for 2,300 people in Nepal. There is a changing pattern of RTA in Nepal from low to high energy collision.But there is not a single center outside Kathmandu valley which can treat such catastrophe. We are the ones who are taking initiatives with full expertise and talent. People have no access to health facilities due to various reasons like diverse geography, low socioeconomic condition, Illiteracy, lack of health facilities and personale. The consequences are simple diarrhea taking away the lives of many people.Simple infection of the bone changes into chronic, causing lifelong morbidity and even death of many people with fulminent infection.Simple fracture of the bone results in amputation of the limb or even death due to mismanagement at the initial hour and so on. This can be prevented by providing health education to the people , establishing a well equipped hospital outside Kathmandu valley. But increasing transportation facilities, literacy rate and decreasing poverty are not possible at the time. Keeping all these things in mind, we have established multidisciplinary hospital focusing trauma and physical disabilities at Chitwan district of Nepal. We extend our hands for any kind of help and support for the sake of those poor, helpless and needy people. People will be greatful to you and your help will be immortal.

  Definitely a must go to hospital for all trauma related cases. Doctors are super friendly and actually do love and know what they are doing.
