  I loved it. Don't go on the name. Good service. Clean hotel. Nicely located. Co-operative staff. Amazing breakfast.

  The location of the hotel was fantastic and staff were friendly and helpful. The pictures on the website were not an accurate representation of the actual rooms. We booked a premium room on the top floor but the previous guest was smoking inside so we had to change to a standard room and this is definitely no fault of the hotel at all and we were happy to make that change. The standard room we had was dark, dirty and cramped. The bath towels and bedsheets smelled freshly washed but had loads of stains of them and it was just a bit of a turn off if you're somewhat of a clean-freak like me. We were originally supposed to stay for 2 nights but decided to switch to another hotel after one night as the mattress was so hard that it gave me a backache after 1 night.

  We stayed here 7 days with five friends. The service was excellent from arrival to departure. Staff were always friendly and willing to help however they could. The arranged tours through concierge were simply awesome. Meals were altogether fantastic (order the off menu Nepalese omelette for breakfast!!). The restaurant and bar area were total local charm. Rooms were clean and well kept. Location was perfect, close to tourist areas, not too far from attractions and sight seeing. I've stayed in many chain and boutique hotels around the world and never felt the need to write a review, this is my first because I was so pleasantly surprised. I would absolutely recommend this one over any chain hotel out there.
