  Kamal Pokhari is located in kathmandu valley. It is among one of the best pond in the city conserve by local people and has park and place for refreshment.

  One of the few water filled ponds in the center of Kathmandu city; its a public place provided with sitting benches in it's periphery. In the south part there is a temple. The greenery is maintained by plantation. Police bit being in its one side we can call it a safe place. Entry is free for all and it's wheelchair accessible. It's a good place to observe sunset and each year Chhath festival is also conducted here. So it's a historic place with cultural background.
