  It is one of the reputed government colleges in the country. Students opt for Science, Sociology, Rural Development subjects here. It is centrally located in Kathmandu. The college is also criticized as there is huge political interferences in the ccollege by the students. The college runs morning, day and night shift classes.

  It is a oldest college of nepal. It is a part of Nepal's top and No. 1 University 'Tribhuvan University'. It provides science and art subjects. In branch of natural science here all subjects are available at bachelor level. Meteorology, geology, environment, physics, chemistry, mathematics, microbiology, zoology, botany are the main subjects which are available here. In arts branch here mathematics, BSW, Geography, Psychology, philosophy are available here. In masters level here geology, chemistry, and other subhects are available. It's lobrary is too good.
