::The only Zoo in Nepal. It has many different types of animals. A great place to go with the family. Make sure you bring your kids here. They will absolutely love it. You can also boat here in the small lake. Do try to watch staffs here bathing Hippopotamus. Tiger is the main attraction here. There is more than 50 kinds ki birds here. There are some amusement rides for kids like small Train, Helicopter etc.

::The Central Zoo, located in Jawalakhel, is one of the few places available for outing with children in Kathmandu. When I used to visit this place about 20 years back, I used to perceive it as a cozy area with enough open space. However, the recent visit made me feel the zoo somewhat congested, which, may be due to a high number of visitors in recent years.
