  When I check up my infant to senior Dr Shanta as my baby having skin problems without checking nicely he prescribed me candid cream saying it fungal infection seriously candid cream to infant. I thought he is senior Dr I put that cream to my baby skin and my baby skin became more red and worse. He prescribed too many medicine and he don't have good attitude.I went to another place and came to know that it's eczema not fungal infections. How could be senior Dr would be that careless while checking infant. I don't recommend this hospital. Hospital environment so dirty doesn't look like children hospital.

  It was a horrible experience when I went with my 2 years old son to see Dr. Shanta Chandra Shakya last month. My son had cold and mild cough. As soon as we went to Dr’s room, Dr used his stethoscope and suggested to start a combination of antibiotics and allergy medicine. I replied the doctor being cautiously indicating that how he can start an antibiotics without proper examination. Then, he wrote X-ray test. I was left with no option to put my young son in X-ray machine and expose to the harmful rays for the first time. After the immediate available report My son was diagnosed with Acute Airway Infection and prescribed five types of medications including antibiotics and anti allergies. After all these set of incidents, I decided not to give antibiotics. Instead he was given only cough syrup from the prescribed list and taken extra care. By doing so, he got recovered. I will never recommend anyone to see such commercial doctors who only run for money and check hundreds of patients in a day. I also suggest the hospital management to take my comment on constructive account and start a change. First of all change the title of the hospital, as there is mismatch in either English or Nepali Translation. As per your English Name ‘International Friendship Children’s Hospital’ it should be अन्तर्राष्ट्रिय मित्रता बाल अस्पताल in Nepali. Or if it is अन्तर्राष्ट्रिय मैत्री बाल अस्पताल , the translated text in English should be International Friendly Children’s Hospital. Then, other things related to quality and care should be on priority.

  The name of the hospital is misleading. Worst hospital ever I had visited. Too narrow passage make it overcrowded and put children are the risk of infections. We had to wait on the narrow corrider where water was leaking from the tin roof. Surprised by the over rated cost of the investigation it's almost double. They ask the children to admit without no reasonable cause or ask to get lots of rest. Also the staff are too unprofessional :( :(
