  I had heard the hospital is quite reasonable and reliable. But today I called the emergency and the ambulance but no response... we needed an ambulance urgently for an heart attack case...

  Hospital is poorly managed. Management doesn't care about cleanliness. There were 3 stray dogs inside hospital premises. Private cabin hall smells of food. Canteen had a very disturbing smell as soon as I entered there. As for the treatment part, this hospital is the best one for heart related diseases. Parking is available just outside the gate for bikes and for cars you have to park on the side of the road.

  This is the most trusted and revered place for heart patients in Nepal mainly because of two reasons- first its funded by government meaning you are exempt from exorbitant high prices that private hospital charge and secondly you are eligible to significant financial assistance from government of nepal if you bring document showing your poor condition from your hometown. Like in all government hospital you have to go there early in the morning around 6(earlier the better) and stand in line for coupon and then at around 8 they open the counter and doctors arrive around 10.

  This is only one heart centre which is governmental but fully functional in Nepal. Due to this centre, patients are able to get treatment at reasonable price and government of Nepal also provide subsidy of NPR 100, 000 to poor people here
